Invictus was pretty good. Clint Eastwood took some "Director License" at the beginning with the Afrikaner boys playing rugby on a nice field and the black boys playing on a dirt field across the street. No way would be the black kids be playing anywhere close to the Afrikaners during Apartheid. More apt was later in the movie when the Springbok team went to the townships to teach the black kids how to play.
Gifted Hands was really good. Has Cuba Gooding, Jr. in it. It's about a boys childhood and how he became a neurosurgeon at Johns Hopkins. _________________ Ladies and Gentlemen.. I come before you, to stand behind you, to tell you something I know nothing about... |
