My favorites were for Dodge, the beaver and Meghan Fox. I guess I'd have to settle on Meghan Fox as the most likely fantasy. Anyone can get a Dodge.
Beavers are harder to come by, but...wait...did I just do a double entendre' or something?
My bad. Just give me the beaver and you can have Meghan Fox. _________________ Those who can make you believe absurdities can make you commit atrocities (Voltaire)

I have heard quite a bit of "internet chatter" on how the Who were terrible choices and how they are "old/has beens" and why didn't they get Lady Gaga or somebody that the younger generation can relate to.
I am just guessing that there is a HUGE (younger) audience watching the Super Bowl that NEVER WATCHES FOOTBALL all year long and are just watching for the entertainment of the commercials.
It would be interesting hearing what the people paying the big bucks for the seats/tickets had to say about the choice of entertainers. |

I had to explain who Pete Townsend and the Who were to my kids. All they knew was they played the theme song from CSI-Miami.
they thought ol' Pete was gonna have a heart attack up there on stage. |

I thought the "WHO" were completely terrible. Tell those old farts to give it up. I never particularly liked their music when they were "in" but watching a bunch of geezers pretend to be 20-something is embarrassing. And besides, their voices went "south" a long time ago. It was BAD in the worst sense of the word. _________________ Those who can make you believe absurdities can make you commit atrocities (Voltaire)

no...I was thinking more along the lines of Meghan Fox...but I see how YOU might think of Betty White first. _________________ Those who can make you believe absurdities can make you commit atrocities (Voltaire)

Loved the Betty White Snickers commercial.
The Who were weak, but that was a really neat set. Then again I have always liked their music.
Pretty sure I would not have watched Lady Gaga. |

Let's get real.
How many actually have Super Bowl Parties for the Game.
Most are just for the drinking.
The game is just an excuse.
Those that actually cared about the "GAME", probably remember who the "WHO" is. _________________ Butch Demaree |

HEY..."HORTON" HAD A WHO...now don't that make you conjure up a vision or something? And ME? I don't think you could search the planet and find anyone who (WHO?) cared less...I pulled up the commercials on "HULU". And I'd like to pull Meghan Fox "up" outta that tub so I do the do...as it were... _________________ Those who can make you believe absurdities can make you commit atrocities (Voltaire)

I can't complain about the halftime show. I like their music & the lightshow was pretty neat. Plus, yep, they sing all 3 CSI themes. There've been worse.
I thought the Doritos commercial was great. *SMACK!* "Don't touch my mama & don't touch my Doritos." _________________ Be kinder than necessary. Everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.
